Why TAM
Five things decide the total cost of ownership of a storage tank. We are built around all five.

Microbial and biochemical products from a developer with over 40 years in the field, not brute-force manual entry.
Sludge is treated in place, so the tank returns to service sooner.
Tank bottoms are largely recoverable oil. We give it back instead of hauling it away.
Fewer confined-space entries, no solvents, no hot-oiling. Your HSE system, adopted on site.
Less waste to dispose, less time offline, more product recovered. Priced on value, not tonnage.
The method
Cultures and nutrients go in through nozzles that are already there. Paraffin and emulsions break down in place, the oil separates and is drawn off, and what is left is a fraction of what went in.
Sludge is tested in its found state so the culture blend matches your product and your tank.
Cultures and nutrients are introduced through existing nozzles. No confined-space entry.
Biosurfactants and organic acids break paraffin and emulsions. The sludge liquefies.
Oil and water are drawn off and separated. What remains is minimal and ready for disposal.
Illustrative. Cycle times depend on product, temperature and sludge depth.
Services
01In-place treatment of tank bottoms with Para-Bac™ cultures and closed-loop circulation, for fixed and floating-roof tanks.
02Liquefaction of paraffinic sludge so trapped hydrocarbons separate and return to the client as saleable oil.
Biological separation of stable oil and water emulsions into recoverable oil, water and settled solids.
Reduction of sludge, VOCs and LEL ahead of internal inspection, coating and repair, so any entry is shorter and safer.
Representative sludge sampling, characterisation and treatment design, supported by Micro-Bac’s laboratory.
Scheduled treatments that limit bottom build-up between cleanings and preserve working capacity.
Paraffin, scale and corrosion control in flowlines, separators and surface equipment with the Para-Bac™ family.
Biological treatment of sludge pits, holding lagoons and oily wastes using M-1000H™ products and nutrients.
Technology · Micro-Bac International, Texas
Instead of sending crews in with shovels and solvents, we introduce naturally occurring, facultative anaerobic cultures that produce their own biosurfactants. Paraffin, scale and sludge break down in place. The oil separates. The residue that is left is a fraction of what it was.

CO · H · LF · PAH
Hydrocarbon-degrading cultures for tank bottoms, slop and sludge. Paraffin breaks down in place so the oil separates and goes back to stock.
Flow assurance
Paraffin control for lines, vessels and separators, dosed on a schedule so deposits never reach the point of shutting a line down.
Asset integrity
Corrosion and scale management across the asset, run as a monitored programme rather than a one-off intervention.
The question stops being “How much does it cost to clean the tank?” and becomes “How much will we recover?”
Markets
Each market has its own qualification gate. We register early, so the paperwork is done before the first tender.

Phase 01 · Market entry
Headquartered in Doha. Supplier registration with QatarEnergy through KYS and Mushtaryat, the prerequisite for tender documents.
Phase 02 · Localisation
Vendor qualification with Saudi Aramco, industrial operators and the EPC main contractors that manage tank farms across the Kingdom.
Phase 03 · Regional platform
OQ, OTTCO and OQ8 facilities in Sohar, Duqm, Salalah and Muscat, through the relevant supplier portals and technical prequalification.
Non-entry treatment removes most confined-space work from the job.
No solvents and no hot-oiling. Products meet EPA requirements for release into the environment.
Gas-free certification to API 2015 before any inspection or hot work.
Your permit-to-work and HSE management system adopted on every site, with an in-house HSE function from year two.
